The Amazon is one of the most precious ecological heritage of the planet. It is in fact a large biome composed of many interacting balanced ecosystems. 65% of the Amazon region is composed of the humid tropical forest land, while the remainder is made up of forests of vines, meadows, dry forests, flooded forests, mangroves, wetlands forests, savannahs, upland fields, fields paddy fields and bamboo forests. The entire network of rivers, streams, waterfalls, lakes, streams and dams are the aquatic ecosystems of the Amazon.
The Amazon basin is one of the rainiest places on the planet, with annual rainfall of over 2,000 mm per year, reaching 10,000 mm in some regions. During the months of rain from December, the waters rise on average 10 meters, reaching 18 meters in some areas. This means that half the time much of the Amazon plain is submerged, featuring the largest area of flooded forest in the world, covering an area of 700,000 Km2.
The city of Rio de Janeiro is the second largest city in Brazil and is located in the Southeast. The wonderful city is the number one tourist destination in Brazil. São Paulo does not deny the craze for work and vocation for business. With much effort, the Paulistas were able to make São Paulo the most important state economically in Latin America. But Sao Paulo state is not only that. In addition to the thousands cultural attractions, São Paulo also offers the best tourism options. Bathed by the Atlantic, the São Paulo coast has 622 kilometers dotted by beaches of all kinds and sizes. On the north coast beaches are scattered around towns such as Bertioga, São Sebastião, Caraguatatuba and Ubatuba, and on islands such as Ilhabela, paradise for surfers and sailors. Iguaçu Falls - one of the seven wonders of nature
One of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Iguaçu Falls are located on the Iguaçu River stretch of the border between Brazil and Argentina.
The election that secured the title to the Falls was organized by the Swiss foundation New Seven Wonders, in a process that began in 2007 with the participation of 400 natural attractions, of which 28 passed the stage which culminated in 2011 with the election of the seven winning.
The Falls are visited annually by 2.5 million tourists around the world, always provoking enchantment sensations and amazement. One of these visitors, Eleanor Roosevelt, then First Lady of the United States to compare the spectacle of the waters in front with falls that his country shares with Canada, could not resist and exclaimed, "Poor Niagara" (Poor Niagara!) .
